Alfresco currently does not support the removal of content types from the system - only additions of new models and additional aspects/properties. Your issue is that the system can no longer find the definition of a type - that is missing as you have removed the model.

Add the model back in to the system, then delete all objects that reference types in the that model. You should then be able to remove your model and start the system again.

It is a recommended practice that you develop model changes on a test Alfresco system (a copy of your original?) until you get it working. Then deploy that model to your live system. This is similar to how you would develop a live database schema - i.e. you would not make changes to Tables on a live system without making sure they work first on a test system.

Thanks,

Kevin
