Hello, I have created a webserivce on top of JCR Interface and I have deployed the webservice in alfresco war, I am unable to invoke the webservice because SrpingWebContext is null and hence I am getting a NPE, I know Alfresco has built in webservices but , it is a requirement that we use JCR Interf

The other thing which may be useful to you is how a C# client connects - see http://dev.plutext.org/trac/plutext-client-word2007/browser/trunk/plutext-client-word2007/ChunkServiceOverride.cs

You'll notice I'm currently doing a call to the auth service to get a ticket, then using it in the call to my web service.

I need to get around to making this more efficient.

The other thing you'll discover, if you haven't already, is that unless client and server clocks are synchronized, things won't work.

Please share any experiences / improvements in this forum.
