    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi David&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What we're hoping is that developers of apps that can edit documents will start to adopt the iOS 8 document provider extensions (part of iCloud Drive). This mechanism is the official Apple-supported way of round-tripping documents between apps. It's something we looked at during the iOS 8 beta phase, but was much too unreliable to spend too much effort on and we concentrated on other areas.
