Hi,Consider the following scenario: I am out of office for weeks and don't have the possibility to work online. Before my business trip starts, I download from the repository several documents to my Notebook and work on them offline. (I don't want to lock the files because my colleagues also have to

I think the only thing you can go by is the version history for a particular file.

Thanks for your reply.
If you have a lot of documents, this is a bit cumbersome. You have to check the version history of every file.

I want to express my concern a little more specific:
People need to be able to work on documents in Off-line mode(as some of them do external work and do not always have Internet
connection). When it comes to merging an Offline edited document back into the DMS, how about conflict handling? What features
is Alfresco offering in that area?

Currently Alfresco is an online system. The offline solution is being worked on now.
