Hello,

Edit Online won't work on any Chrome version beyond version 37. This is mainly due to Google phasing out NPAPI. They have removed all NPAPI Plug-Ins from the webstore. Consequently all versions of alfresco prior to 5.x are affected.

The latest version of Alfresco 5 uses a new mechanism that does no longer require Plug-Ins for Edit Online.

I have been able to get the latest version of Firefox to work. Apparently I missed looking at enabling the plugin by clicking the little icon to the very left on the address bar. 😕 (noob mistake)

Chrome still does not work, but meh…There are other browser to use till we upgrade.

Edit: You can go to here in the chrome browser and enable NPAPI.
