After doing below changes, odt file now preview :

- Started alfresco as root
- deplyoed jar file as per instruction on http://code.google.com/p/share-extras/wiki/MediaViewers#Configuration

but some browser document preview is not properly , see screen shot as below and let me know, what are the things need to be check in order to solve this issue .

Now I too have issues with previewing an .odt file. It renders up in PDFJs viewer instead of the WebOdf viewer. Attached here is the screenshot for the same. I have raised an issue on MediaViewers github page - https://github.com/share-extras/media-viewers/issues/34
