I've been seeing the same thing in my solr*.log files going back a while. So I finally checked out the folder referenced (../alfresco/tomcat/temp) and there are 6 WFSTInputIterator*.input and 6 WFSTInputIterator*.sorted files there totalling 11 GB.

I suspect this is due to this bug: https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/MNT-16427

Based on this previous thread, you should be okay to delete these files the next time you shut down Alfresco: https://forums.alfresco.com/forum/installation-upgrades-configuration-integration/installation-upgrades/delete-file-and-folder

Thanks for the info. I've deleted the above mentioned locations and everything seems to be working correctly.
