Hi,

I had the same error.
I just removed the quotes in the MAVEN_OPTS variable and it solved the problem…

Another possible cause I can think of : if you run the integration-test goal from Eclipse, maybe it uses the JRE options instead of the MAVEN_OPTS environment variable ?

My stupid fault, how can a java32 run a heap of 4096m?
Switched to a 64b JDK and added the "-Xms1024m -Xmx4096m -XXermSize=1024m" to the VM arguments in the JRE tab of Maven run as… since the MAVEN_OPTS does not affect m2e.
