    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Need some help here…&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The log says:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;PRE class="language-none line-numbers"&gt;&lt;CODE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target&lt;SPAN class="line-numbers-rows"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;‍&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I tried to import the cert with (but did not work):&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;sudo keytool -import -alias smtp.host.com -file host-smtp.cer -keystore /opt/alfresco-4.2.e/java/jre/lib/security/cacerts&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any hint?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

You can use ssl's following command to do it:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;openssl s_client -connect your.smtp.server&lt;img id="smileytongue" class="emoticon emoticon-smileytongue" src="https://connect.hyland.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.png" alt="Smiley Tongue" title="Smiley Tongue" /&gt;ORT_NO.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If there will be any errors in the certificate chain you will need to install also the intermediate certificate on your smtp server.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This should help.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Pawel.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
