      <title>J2SE 1.4 Support for JCR Clients?</title>

      <description>Is there anything in the works to make the JCR API backward compatible to J2SE 1.4 (or even 1.3)?&amp;nbsp; The docs seem to suggest that 1.5 is required everywhere, and while we don't have a problem firing up a container for running the actual repository, we have a number of enterprise applications deployed</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for the pointer!&amp;nbsp; I didn't notice any instructions for getting this working with Weblogic 9, so I'll take a crack at it, and if successful, post the steps.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've seen some mutterings here/there about performance (method round trips over RMI)–is this a concern?&amp;nbsp; If so, is it expected to be addressed in 1.3 (or 1.4)?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
