Deploying a custom page to Alfresco share

I had been trying to add a new page to the Alfresco Share UI. But, I never managed to get this working because when ever I deploy the code as a .jar file and restart alfresco I don't see the required content. This sample is given in the Alfresco official docs. Can anybody help identify what I'm doin

Hi,

You also need to create template-instance and template files. Once you create them you can access the page http://localhost:8080/share/page/pageId

If you want to show the page in customize site, you need to add the page in share-config-custom.xml.
