We are interested in new (5.2) REST APIs because we are going to build new customized UI App based on Angular2.0.I wonder what is the planned release date of <a href="https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_Edition_5.2">Alfresco Community Edition 5.2</a>?Is a good idea to start

Hi,

There was a Tech Talk Live session on the new Alfresco Application Development Framework last week (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ52shrBFOs) which gives an overview of where things are with the new API plus the additional client side Javascript framework and NG2 components. In summary the use of this is being promoted as of now, but with the caveat that it is an early access preview - if you want to use it in production it will be your call basically. Haven't heard of a specific planned release date for 5.2 (or more formally the next GA edition of Alfresco Community)
