I think maybe the installation package is checking for more dependencies than it is reporting in that error message because I had all those libraries installed and it kept erroring out anyway. This is installing from the bin file downloaded from the website so only instructions was to change mode to add executable and then execute it. I actually installed a full LibreOffice in Ubuntu and only then did it move past that point in the install.
