Managing groups in Alfresco

Hello,I have created a group in Alfresco, and I need to give its members the rights to manage groups (Add, delete, search, update…) . I know that only admins can manage groups on alfresco, is there a way to give this group this possibility too ? Regards,Sofia.

Hi Sofia,

Try adding your group of user to the ALFRESCO_ADMINISTRATORS group.

Thank you for replying, but I don't need to give them all admins permissions , I just need to give this group the possibility to manage groups .

Do you have any idea please ? should I add new authorities to Alfresco ? I searched for files where permissions (for group managing) are defined , but I didn't find anything important .

No. Group admin cannot be delegated. Its something on the enhancement list.

Ok , So I have no other choice than adding this group to the list of adminGroups .
