It seems that you didn't set "hibernate.dialect" property or database connection information correctly

The hibernate dialect error is generally a bit misleading and simply means that your database connection is not correct.

Check these properties in your alfresco-global.properties.
db.driver=org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver
db.url=jdbc:mysql://${db.host}:${db.port}/${db.name}

And that the schema actually exists for db.name

I've once had to set the dialect directly, but it should not be neccessary
hibernate.dialect=org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLInnoDBDialect
