Hi all,

is it possible to connect lastest Alfresco community to Sharepoint repository?

I would like to see all the files I have on sharepoint in Alfresco.
I know it's possible to connect alfresco to sharepoint with sharepoint protocol but I read this is for using sharepoint services, my question another: it's just to see sharepoint files (repository) in Alfresco. Is it possible with cifs, cmis or webdav maybe?
Can someone tell me how?

Hope in some help,
thank you
Cristian.

What no means? There is no solution for this? Nothing?….

It will not work even if I set a folder with cifs?

No means no. Your question does not make sense. Its like saying can we use Oracle and store the tables in sqlserver.

You either use a sharepoint repository or alfresco repository.

Perhaps in future there may be a federated CMIS client of some sort that would provide a view across multiple repositories. But AFAIK no-one has attempted that.

But at the moment Alfresco Share uses private APIs for the Alfresco Repository.

I know it's not a great solution if you think about what Alfresco potentially does, but this is not the point of my question. I'm not asking advices about connection between them and what the right architecture must be, I just need to see sharepoint repository (files) into my Alfresco.
And I don't need (really I can't) transfer or convert them…

I can't believe there is no solution to connect other repositories or databases… neither cifs or webdav work for this?
