Retrieve documents from current folder

The following rest call retrieves the documents in foldername and the documents in the nested sub folders, I want to restrict the output to the documtns inside {folderName} folder , any ideas ??http://localhost:8080/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser/root/{folderName}

If you use the CMIS 1.1 browser binding to ask for a folder, the default is to use cmisselector=children, which shows only the immediate children. So your URL will in fact only show the children. It is equivalent to doing this:

http://localhost:8080/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser/root/test?cmisselector=children‍

If you want to see all of the descendants in the folder tree, you would use a different cmisselector, like this:

http://localhost:8080/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser/root/test?cmisselector=descendants‍

If you want to see descendants but you want to limit the depth, you can use the depth argument, like this:

http://localhost:8080/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser/root/test?cmisselector=descendants&depth=2‍
