Link or group related sites

I am setting up Alfresco where every client has their own site. Is there a way to link sites such that it would be possible to easily see related sites or even a way to group sites?Thanks

Hello,

sites are "just" normal content objects. You could provide a custom aspect that links / groups sites, apply it to a site with a custom action (or via the Repository view) and develop a dashlet upon that data to display "related sites" / "sites in group" on the dashboard of each site.

Unfortunately, there is no out of the box functionality for this as each customer / user has specific requirements and a generic approach in the product would usually not be sufficient…

Thanks for your answer. This would be perfect but I am not sure if this is available for Alfresco in the Cloud where there is no on-premises installation. I do hope that this functionality is made available in the cloud eventually.

yeah, sorry - I didn't look too closely at the sub-forum. Custom content models are not (yet?) supported in cloud.
