How to install Alfresco community on GNU/Linux

I'm going to open this discussion to know your preferences on the way to install Alfresco for a production server.There's the bundle install, which is not recommended and should be used only for test or as a demo.This is a post by Francesco Corti‌ showing the process of installing 4.2.cAlfresco 4.2.

I always try to use ubuntu, and when possible, I use the ‌ script, as it does most of the work in a controlled way.

For other OSs, like other linux distributions or Windows, I use the official installer, but always perform some changes, basicaly the same as the Loftux's installer does.

Hi, and for recently Debian; all it's here (but in French) : Installer Alfresco Community 5™

This documentation will be upgraded for update from 5.1 to 5.2...in progress at this time.
