Did a fresh bone-stock install with the April 6 nightly build, left the port number at 8080 as I thought maybe this was involved. Same problem, alfresco/cifs fine, share not.

I rolled back my installation to 4.2a and applied my exact same config files and kerbose auth works for share.

Just tried 4.2c and it works as well.
