Several weeks back, I deleted a parent node through Share that had quite a lot of child nodes (probably 60,000+ PDF files and folders). While the child nodes appear to be gone from the system, it doesn't appear that all of the child nodes were moved from the contentstore to contentstore.deleted.

I think that the move process may have been interrupted at some point and perhaps that child nodes were deleted from the database, but not deleted from the file system. Is this possible if the server was restarted or the service was shut down while the server was moving them? I need to get rid of these files on the file system as they are taking up a lot of space.

A few questions that I think will help me get to where I need to go, but if I'm heading down the wrong path, please let me know.
Does the GUID in the contentstore folder match up to a column in the database?
How can I tell if an item in the contentstore folder is no longer listed in the database?
Are there any clean up scripts in existence to check the items in the contentstore folder and move them to contentstore.deleted if they no longer exist in the database?

Am I missing something here? This is my first post on the forums, but I have been using Alfresco for over two years in some depth, but I've always been able to find my answer through others forum posts. This one, though, I haven't found any clues about.

Thanks!
Drew
