Have you also deleted documents from the "trashcan" in the application?

The other place you may free up content is unwanted versions of files.

Or buy a bigger disk. 8-)

Yes, I've already cleared the trashcan.

1) Is there a way to clear the all the old versions of a file/folder (or versions of all files)?
2) What about clearing a snapshot?

May be clearing all the old versions of a folder or a big file may help me a bit..

Yes if you have snapshots then clean them, and any old deployment reports.
