topic Module building in Alfresco Archive

Hello,
I just started using Alfresco CE and I need to modify the rm-server module but this requires a enterprise jar (checkout https://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-enterprise/modules/recordsmanagement/HEAD) . Do I have to buy some kind of license(enterprise alfresco) to be able to access these dependent jars? If so why make it publicly available and not place it in the password protected repo? Can some one explain me how this works? Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you!

P.S.: Sorry if I posted in the wrong section but this I think it is the most suitable part of the forum.

Hi Lucianmli,

That doesn't sounds quite right. Can you provided some details of the troublesome jars and we will investigate.

HEAD is always moving and is designed to represent the most current RM development stream. This means things may or may not be stable. I'll investigate whether it's possible to mirror publicly the 2.1.a community tagged archive. That would be the best community code base to work from, although for RM I would highly recommend considering an enterprise licence.

Thanks,
Roy
