    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Self-resolved this; I had a few issues:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;ul&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;This error seemed to be a red herring - having nothing to do with it not working&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Somehow, I had managed to download alfresco 3.3 WARs instead of the ones I had intended&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Realised that I don't need to run soffice as a service manually, because as long as the proper location is configured in alfresco-global.properties it'll launch itself automatically&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;li&amp;gt;Needed to install SWFtools and/or ImageMagick - these weren't listed on the alfresco wiki page I was using as a reference&amp;lt;/li&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;lt;/ul&amp;gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've got another error with thumbnails not rendering, but will chase this up separately.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
