Hi, im having an issue with LDAP. I have 2 applications that we need to use (alfresco and openfire) but here is the issue.I can get openfire to connect to the LDAP server when LDAP is set to Local network for the publish policy, and via ssl via port 636. however once I take it out of local network,

Lots more detaila about your LDAP server please. For a start what LDAP server are you using.

I believe we are using openLDAP the linux verison im using is ClearOS which is based off of redhat

yes it is openLDAP/sldap, ive tried everything I can think of and am still having the issues
