I have two clients using Alfresco community edition, one an accounting firm that recently changed browsers company-wide to IE11. Since doing so they can not add comments to documents in the Alfresco Document Library. They can however edit existing document comments. Adding new comments is crucial to the app. I am hoping someone out there can help me with this issue.

I am sorry if this has already been addressed in the forum. First time post, and I have not been able to find anything directly related to this posted.

Thanks

Hello,

there are a lot of issues with IE 11 compatibility, starting from issues that users can't even log into Share. See ALF-20884 for example. Currently, the only Alfresco versions that support IE 11 are the Alfresco Enterprise 4.2.1+ release(s). There are some community lead efforts out there to achieve IE11 compatibility for Alfresco Community 4.2 as well, e.g. Lothar Märkles alfext project, that you can try.

Regards
Axel
