I'm getting this error also. Did you ever solve it? I could use a clue in how to debug this issue.

Apologies for the late reply. I didn't find out "the why" of the bug but I did solve it. I had to remove some values from some db tables and the bug went away. I did it about month ago now so I'll have to look into what I did exactly but I dug into it and it seems the issue arises from some update scripts that ran and didn't clean up. Can't remember exactly how I found out but I'll look into it again once I have to upgrade production.

Again really sorry I didn't document what I was doing, but I really didn't think that what I was doing would solve it until it was solved and I was really busy at the time so replying just kind of escaped my mind. Not to mention that manually tampering with the db, is something I'd recommend.
