In particular:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- did you specify password (default: "alfresco") when importing the browser .p12 certificate?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- did you restart your browser?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Also, check page 206, "Solr 4 troubleshooting for SSL configurations", in particular: does your Java version support renegoziating the SSL connection?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Anyway, in your browser you should type &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://alfresco:8080/solr4/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://alfresco:8080/solr4/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; and let it redirect to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="https://alfresco:8443/solr4/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://alfresco:8443/solr4/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
