Hi, thank you for the reply. I've done this several times, and it seems alfresco is running everytime without any errors (apart from the Open Office error). Yet I still can't bring the share or alfresco page up.
I am trying to install Alfresco on a clean webserver with my FQDN. During the setup I install in my home/admin/opt directory, select my domain as the domain web server in the installation query, alfresco starts up, I go to http://mysite.com:8080/share, and it times out everytime with no errors. Am I setting this up wrong?

Newb error. Port 8080 had to be opened on my firewall.
