I doubt it. You use Weblogic or JBoss for their extra features, its unlikely that there will be much difference in search performance.

That said, search performance can be affected by many things, so its important to understand what the problem is before attempting any "fixes".

And since you are using Alfresco 4.1.4 have you called alfresco support?

Thanks for your reply, yes we are contacting Alfresco support team. However want to check if anybody used different application server for performance related issues or not.
