It is a better option to use GA versions (General Availability) for production environments, in this case, 201605 linux installer. If you only want to "test" the latest from Alfresco Community use EA labeled versions.

From Alfresco Community 5.1, we have this new labeling. It is explained here:

What’s new in Alfresco Community Edition 5.1? | ECM Architect

Regards.

--C.

This means some other process or user is accessing the temporary file generated by installer. May be, there are two process instances of installer.

Use lsof to check what other processes are using it. You can use kill command to kill it if needed.

Let me know if that solves your problem.

Thanks,

Kalpesh

ContCentric

There is a page called "Supported Platforms" you might be interested in. It shows what versions of platform and other dependencies are supported by Alfresco. Even if you are running Community Edition, it may make sense to stick to the supported stacks because it will give you some amount of confidence that Alfresco has tested it against that stack and that others in the community are running that stack.

I'm not saying you won't be able to get it to work with Ubuntu 16, I'm just suggesting that you may be causing yourself more work than is necessary.
