    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm using Alfresco Community 5.0d&amp;nbsp; integrated with Siteminder SSO and ldap synchronization.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Whenever I try to create any kind of work flow I get the error dialog: "Workflow could not be started", "Workflow could not be started".&amp;nbsp; There are no errors in the Alfresco or share logs.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If I log onto the Workflow Admin Console I see the definitions of the workflows that I tried to create.&amp;nbsp; If I use one of these definitions and then execute start, I get the following error:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;org.activiti.engine.ActivitiException: Unknown property used in expression: ${bpm_assignee.properties.userName}&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;and later …&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;org.activiti.engine.impl.javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: Cannot resolve identifier 'bpm_assignee'&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have no idea what's wrong.&amp;nbsp; I completely re-installed Alfresco, and still get the same error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the variable bpm_assignee inside the workflow / task does not seem to be set, that is why the error is a PropertyNotFoundException. If these are custom workflows (custom definitions), then please check any custom logic and form config you have added to ensure that bpm_assignee is being set where it needs to be set. If the workflow in question is a default workflow (provided by Alfresco) then try to reproduce it with a step-by-step account of what you have done so that you can file an issue in &amp;lt;a href="&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://issues.alfresco.com" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://issues.alfresco.com&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;"&amp;gt;Alfresco JIRA&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Regards&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Axel&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi Axel:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There has been no customization to this installation, no custom workflows, and these are the default workflows provided by Alfresco.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The only thing I did is set-up Alfresco-system and share for SSO and LDAP for user registry synchronization.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I will file an issue with Alfresco JIRA.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks for your response,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Keith Smith&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
