I am using Alfresco Community 5.0.d.
When I customize the dashboard as admin, all of the other users see the changes.

You said that you were a site manager. Are you using the "admin" id, os another ID that has
site manager privileges?

No, I'm not the admin, I was just given site manager priviledges…

I just ran a test on my 5.0.d system. I created a new ID and invited to my site as "Manager".
I was able to customize the dashboard with that ID. Then I logged in with a regular user ID (Collaborator)
and still got the dashboard changes.
It seems to work as expected in Alfresco 5. Maybe someone from Alfresco can explain
why it's different in Alfresco 4?

Thank you very much for your time to investigate!

We just observed one more strange thing:
- Another site manager (not admin) goes to "Customize dashboard" and there he can see the configuration I made (e.g. added the wiki dashlet). But when he goes back to his dashboard he still sees the old dashboard without the wiki.
- He also tried changing the layout. When he goes back to his dashboard he sees the new layout he made, but still without the added dashlet (although it is present in his own "Customize site"). And I still see the layout I had previously made.
- However, the changes I made at "more->customize site" on the site theme and "Current Site Pages" do not appear on his "customize site" page.
