Hi,I need to integrate some tools like Brava Viewer and/or Brava Enterprise on Alfresco.The goal is to give users the ability to view, print, measure, anotate (Markup) CAD files (and even PDF files) without having the native software installed.Morover, the Texts Markups should be attached to the Doc

has someone experiences with this topic?
I am especially interested in Extracting/Saving Meta-data and Viewing/Redlining CAD documents directly in alfresco.

I dont know if you had this answered, but did you investigate ViewONE Pro from Daeja, it already has been integreated into Alfresco?

Alfresco 3.3 has a built in metadata extractor for DWG files - ALF-2262

this is very timely to what i am researching today. can you please elaborate a bit on your experience? are you referring to:
- DWG file properties (microsoft default Dublin core stuff)
- DWG Custom Properties (autodesk enabled 10 field limit defined from within AutoCad but accessible outside AutoCad from Windows Explorer)
- AutoCad graphical objects like Block 'Attributes' within the DWG
- AutoCad non-graphical objects like 'Fields' within the DWG
