There is lot of material available which you can start with.

Actually you also need to choose which language you are comfortable to use along with CMIS so that your search can be more targeted.

Hallo I need help integrating my liferay to Alfresco:

I have the following versions running:

Liferay := 6.1 and Alfresco community 4.2
When I try and configure the repository in liferay I get and error " Please verify your repository configuration parameters"
When I take the same URL and add it to my browser, it asks for username and password, then it tries to save a xml file.

How can I verify that my CMIS interface is working on ALFRESCO before I connect via liferay.

What is the URL that I am supposed to add to liferay for Atompub. I use http://localhost:8080/alfresco/cmisatom.

This seems to poinnt to an xml doc is this correct.

You can "try" the Alfresco's CMIS endpoint using this simple tool:
