    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;CMIS defines two “bindings”, one is AtomPub binding ,the other is the Web Services binding, I guess by CMIS you means Web Services binding.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.Alfresco Web services is not recommended at all,you should choose from cmis or webscript.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2.CMIS is a proposed standard for ECM,it is more portability than webscript api.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3.webscript api is more powerful than cmis api now.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;So whether to&amp;nbsp; choose CMIS or&amp;nbsp; webscript api depends on your needs&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
