Is there any way to strip out my custom content model? I know there's an uninstall for amps, but this still leaves traces. Do I have to reinstall Alfresco to achieve this?I have a demo system that we've been using to "practice" our content model development. I have made major changes and prefer t

Hi,

You have a couple of options before you can even think of a re-install, here goes:

With regards to metadata disappearing, you will run into a slight problem where content that still have old metadata fields will not render the edit properties form. So the best way is to clean up your content before removing the old content definition, unfortunately if your fields were part of a "type" you will have to download or delete the affected content. You can manage that by writing a quick script. After content clean-up then follow the steps.

1. You can re-index you system, which will remove all the broke (remove) content models.
