So the best way is to clean up your content before removing the old content definition, unfortunately if your fields were part of a "type" you will have to download or delete the affected content. You can manage that by writing a quick script. After content clean-up then follow the steps.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.
