Hi,

The latest version of Eclipse contains a couple of issues with the multipage editor, so you best install Eclipse 3.6.1.
Also make sure you download the classic distribution and not the JEE developer one.
Then it should work well.

Hey,

I downloaded Eclipse 3.6.1 classic and installed everything I need for development( m2eclipse, subversive, the minimum jee and wst stuff).
And the error occurs again.

Using the classic and installing the jee and wst stuff is the same as installing the eclipse jee version (afaik)… So it is not strange the error happens again.

That's what i figured, so I didn't realize what difference it would make. :lol:

So how are you supposed to develop web applications with Activiti workflows if everytime
you install the required jee featues you crash your eclipse for good?

Sorry for the blunt question, but thats what we would like to do.

Sorry for the blunt question, but thats what we would like to do.

Make sure you have two ecplipse installations. One for the activiti designer (and basic java stuff) and one for the web app stuff. They (Tijs, Tiese et al) are most likely working hard to overcome this. keep in mind that up to coming may 1st, all work on the desinger was in spare, private time…

I'm having this same error with Helios Service Release 1 eclipse version.
