Can't access to local files off-line : Alfresco mobile V1.5 Android

Hi,for the last Alfresco Mobile update (v1.5 Android), I can't access to local files off line ! It asks me to connect my devince on network…Have you got the same problem ?Thx a lot !

Can someone test access to local files on Alfresco Mobile without internet access (no WiFi, …) on Android, please ?

Thanks for reporting this. I agree it sounds like a bug, so I've raised the issue internally for the team to look at for next version of Android.

I can confirm that this has been fixed in Android 1.6. We don't have a targeted release date for this version as it's a feature-driven release, not date-driven, but expect it sometime around October.

Somehow related to this: I was always wondering… why does the Android app always download a file from the remote repository,

<ul>
<li> even if it has been favorited (in Dropbox, it would be loaded from local/cache)
<li> even if I had downloaded the file (via download function): when double clicking on the preview in the document details view, it will not take the downloaded version but again loads the files from the remote repo. (Would be good if the app would to a check, either by modification date (fetching meta data is much faster than fetching a large xx MB pdf) or by comparing a content hash (which of course would required an aspect property in the content model).

And not 100% sure if the Android app does this: when offline, I am not sure if I can navigate through the folder structure (of course only those branches that I visited before and are therefore cached).

Just comparing the Android app to Dropbox (often necessary when discussing with customers or potential customers), and some behaviors still don't feel as slick as I wished.

I agree with Mathias.lin, it will be very convenient to download a complete folder on local…

I noted even another bug, while in online mode:

1) Favorized a document
2) Downloaded a document
3) Then, wanting to open the document via the "Open" action (arrow icon in detail view) -> fails saying that the document does not exist (even though I had gotten a re-confirmation whether I wanted to overwrite the existing, local file, in step 2.

When I go to "Local Files > Android", I can open the document from there though. Just not from the document detail view.
