    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi all.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Just downloaded and installed Alfresco Community on Windows Server 2012 but can't access it from any other client on the network.&amp;nbsp; During setup I bound it to the local IP and not localhost.&amp;nbsp; Should I have done this differently or is the access IP locked by default?&amp;nbsp; If locked where do I unlock it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;While I'm at it I can't find where to setup SMTP and other admin things.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I've searched this forum, the docs and the internet honest.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Paul.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Have you installed Alfresco using the tomcat's default port? 8080?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If so, have you configured your server's firewall to allow access on that port?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;About SMTP, you have to include your configuration into alfresco-global.properties file.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It's located at tomcat/shared/classes folder.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You have to set something like this:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;#&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;# Outbound Email Configuration&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;#————-&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.host=smtp.host&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.port=25&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.username=stmp.user&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.password=stmp.user.password&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.from.default=validemail&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;mail.smtp.timeout=60000&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;You can find more information about this topic here &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/email-outboundsmtp-props.html" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/email-outboundsmtp-props.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
