User password expiration

I would like to put a password expiration for all the user. Can anyone tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from anyone of you soon.

There's no password expiration on the inbuilt alfresco authenticator.

However if you are using an external directory then you can use that directories' password expiration features.

Thanks a ton for your reply. However, I would like to ask if there Is a way that we can modify the java code up to the database in order to add the functionality of password expiration? Thanks again in advance. Your help is really appreciated. ^^

Yes of course you can modify the java code. If you do then please consider contributing it back.
