Replication: Do I need to create all the sites group and users

Hi I am doing a test for replication on a Alfresco instance (4.2.c), I have created lots of site , groups and users in the instance. Now I am planning to replicate only one site.My doubt is that on the target machine(a) Do I need to create all the sites ( even if I am not planning to replicate) (b)

I tested with a test instance. This is what I experienced
<b> Without all the users in the site(destination) as same as source site you can do the replication.</b>
I did replication successful for site with src site having only admin user as member

Hi Joseph,
Do you know a way to set up an active-active architecture with two alfresco servers using replication ?
Is the replica marked as read-only ?
Is there any solution to perform a bi-directional replication ?
