Hi,I have installed Alfresco Community 4.2.c. However, I found after I installed an AMP to alfresco.war (under tomcat/webapps/). Hi,

once you have copied the amp to the required location (amps folder or amps_share folder), you have to run apply_amp OS script to deploy it.
After deploying the amps, the folder tomcat/webapps/alfresco or tomcat/webapps/share are removed by the script, it's part of the job of that apply_amps script.

So what you've done is right, but if you use apply_amps, it will be automatic.
