Hi there,

Please give us more details about there error msg, so we can help you more accurate:
1. Where do you see it? and
2. What are the steps/action that led to this error? (For example: I open alfresco page, go to docLibrary, open a doc and I get this msg)
3. Did you do any changes before the error started to show?
4. Which version of alfresco you are using? (in this post I can see that it's 4.0.d, is it the correct one?)
5. Give us a link to what you read about this error

Hi Boris,
Thanks very much for your reply.

1. I see that error when I login to Alfresco Share. It appears on the top on the screen before the menu bar.
2. I just simply login from Share and I got this error.
3. I have accidentally removed some old files from contentstore and this error appears.

Hi there,

Sorry, that I'm giving you a link outside of Alfresco site, but I was able only this one to find it.

Basically you deleted some of the uploaded files from the users, that's why to are getting those messages.
I'm not sure how you can resolve this. The only way might be to restore from a backup, if you have one.

Delete from your contentstore manually. You not only corrupted your database. THE ONLY way to fix this is to restore from backup. Both a content restore and a database restore.

How many files have you deleted? The reason I ask is that the path to the deleted node will be in the error log and if you have only deleted a few files and you have a notion of what type they may have been, create a dummy file which is in the same likely format (PDF, text etc) and then when you get the error copy this file to the location spat out in the alfresco.log file. In alf_data files are buried in folder layers based on date / time of creation but have a name which is essentially {node-id}.bin.

If you have deleted a lot, get your backup out and restore ONLY MISSING FILES in alf_data/contentstore.
