Javascript Console (Share Extras) wont run with 4.2.c

Hi, I'm new to Alfresco. I;ve been struggling with Javascritp Console form share-extras. Are they still supported? I'd really like to use the console on my Alfresco 4.2.c. Community. Should I wait, is there something, that I could do? Or should I roll back to 4.0.x?If I'm the only one experiencincg

Hello,

as you've already logged a <a href="http://code.google.com/p/share-extras/issues/detail?id=134">ticket</a> in the Google Code project, you should hear back from the developers in short time. Meanwhile, you should add any log output with errors you might have to the ticket, so the developers can identify the root cause for your problem sooner than if they'd first have to setup a similar test environment. It may very well be that another add-on you're running could be interfering with the JavaScript Console, which could be apparent in any log output.

After a few hours of fiddling the Console thankfully started to work.

Hi Fluf,
can you share your solution?
I'm getting error 404 when the extension is loaded in 4.2.c, the error is about:

Hi iwkse, I'd like to share it, but I don't remember it exactly. It was kind of chaotic and I tried many options and sudenly it started to work. I do remember, that I had to use new clean instalation with no other plugins added and also I installed with default options (no custom Database, no coustom OpenOffice and so on). I'm sorry I can't help you more.

Hi again Fluf,
probably we're having a different issue.
I compiled the sources from svn and when I go to the share page it raises a 404 error from tomcat. Alfresco is reachable though. I guess I have to reopen the bug you were opening on google code.

My mistake. I did not read carefully the README.txt, I was copying the jar to the place for 3.0
