      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi enkidu&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have Alfresco CE running, I uses rsync to take backup. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have written a script for the same which gets executes daily by 12.am, The steps in the script are&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(a) Shutdown the service&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(b) backup up DB, sco to the backup location&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;© rsync the alfresco installation dir to the backup server&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;(d) start the service &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have used simple bash script to do it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
