Basically you need to update in multiple steps. For each major version and then the final 5.1 minor release. You also need to update your database to have a &lt;A href="https://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/supported-platforms" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;supported platform&lt;/A&gt; (please note that this link relates to Enterprise Edition, but can be used as reference for Community Edition too).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Alfresco Community Edition does not support using MS SQL server. You need to use either MySQL, Maria DB or PostgreSQL. There is no simple migration from MS SQL to a PostgreSQL database, if that is what you where asking. You would likely need to hire a DB expert or find a tool to support you in converting an export so that it can be loaded into PostgreSQL.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should create separate questions for your difficulties regarding integration and provide as much detail as possible. Currently, there is little to go on in that regard.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
