In an attempt to fix the spam issue that has been plaguing the forums for some time, changes were made to the registration process. With these new changes came some new issues. After checking your account, it looks like all the user rights are in order. I see that you created a forum topic shortly before posting here. Are you still seeing the issue that you are describing?

I still can see this post, as i created it I still was able to create a new topic. But as i wanted to create another one an hour later there was no button for creating a new topic any more. So the situation is until now.

The "New Topic" button should be working again, this was reported as fixed earlier today.

As you enter any of the sub-sections of the forums there should be a button on the top left of the page that says "New Topic". With this you can start your own topic.

I, also, am not a new user and my post has remained unpublished for two days now.
Any reason as to why?

In the future, allow 1 - 2 days for me to spot unpublished content.
