Control Site Permission

Hi,I am trying to limit site creation/deletion rights to administrators in a vanilla Alfresco (Community 5.0.d) installation.I have found the guide to do so in the documentation (http://docs.alfresco.com/community/tasks/site-creation-permission.html) but if I follow the instructions there it breaks

Firstly I just copied and pasted the code as referred on the documentation given. The share login page became unresponsive and there was a long log of errors.

Afterwards, I read this: http://forums.alfresco.com/forum/installation-upgrades-configuration-integration/configuration/alfresco-community-50a-0 and then I tried to download public-services-security-context.xml and to paste the whole content of it in custom-model-context.xml and now I have had the same issue with logging on Alfresco, the instance doesn't recognize my admin credentials anymore.

Hey Boris!

Thanks for your help and the link.

Guys I went through the step by step set provided by Jeff and I ended up with the same issue (the share instance does not recognize my admin or users credentials anymore).

I did the following:
- Stopped services
- Pasted the AMPs in their respective folders
- Ran the apply_amps.bat
- Deployed the module in share
- Applied the changes
- Logged out and tried to log back in when I get the following message "Your authentication details have not been recognized or Alfresco may not be available at this time."

Please, any assistance will be much appreciated.

Edit: I finally found out that my logs are at stdout and not Catalina, so attatched you can see the content of my log file.

Update:

I did uninstall Alfresco 4.2.f. and did a "clean" installation again.

I did all the steps again and now I managed to get the login screen to work with my admin credentials.

I created the group SITE_CREATORS and added ALFRESCO_ADMINISTRATORS to it.

However, I can't see the create site button even when logged as an admin.
