Hi All, I was trying to do a cold backup of Alfresco 4.2.f and have got my db backed up and have took my alf_data directory. It sounds like the database restore was not successful. Double check your database connection properties and your database.

Thanks for your reply Rogers. I found out that the issue was with our backup procedure. Its all fine now.

Hi,

Its as simple as take the db backup and alf_data backup and then restore them. I had a document written by one of my team member when we handed this activity over to a different team. Unfortunately, I do not see an option to upload that file. If your issue is not resolved yet, comment your email address and I will send that document across to you.
